US visionary novelist Tom Clancy dies at 66

US best-seller author Tom Clancy who inspired many Hollywood's blockbuster films dies yesterday in Johns Hopkins Hospital in his native Baltimore, Maryland. According to US media reports, the cause of the death of the writer who wrote a series of detailed military thrillers, set around the time of Cold war, many of which were turned into successful movies has not been revealed.

Before making his literary debut, Tom Clancy who's net worth today is reported to be around $300 million according to Forbes use to be a Salesman actually. Clancy'sbest-selling books which later turned into successful Hollywood movie includes, The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger and The Sum of All Fears. By the year 1988, Tom Clancy who co-founded computer games developer Red Storm Entertainment is estimated to have collected 1.3 million US dollars for his book "The Hunt for Red October" alone. His other famous books include, The Cardinal of the Kremlin (1988), Clear and Present Danger (1989), The Sum of All Fears (1991), Without Remorse (1993), Debt of Honor (1994), SSN: Strategies for Submarine Warfare (1996), Rainbow Six (1998), The Bear and the Dragon (2000), Red Rabbit (2002) and The Teeth of the Tiger (2003).

Tom Clancy who was born on 12th April 1947 died at 1st October (Tuesday) 2013, as he died he is survived by four children and his second wife Alexandra Marie Llewellyn. After Clancy's death regarding a brief illness at Johns Hopkins Hospital, his next & last book known as “Command Authority,” is planned for publication on 3rd of December 2013.
