Obama’s White house Counsel Kathryn stepping down

Kathryn Ruemmler who serves as White House Counsel to US President Barack Obama is to step down at the end of this year 2013. According to a White House official, former Principal Deputy White House Counsel Ruemmler plans to leave by the end of the year to return to her private practice. Ruemmler who is a graduate of Richland High School in Richland, Washington has served in Obama administration since the start at the beginning since the year 2009 . US President Barack Obama's White House attorney first served as Principal associate deputy attorney general, the third-ranking official at Justice Department, and later in White House, as Deputy counsel & later Counsel. According to an individual familiar with the decision who wants to remain anonymous because the announcement was not yet official said that Ruemmler wanted to leave at the end of last year but was talked out of it. Kathryn Ruemmler who is 42 years and had advised Obama on a wide range of legal issues received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington and earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center. Kathryn Ruemmler’s departure was first reported by "The Politico", a US political journalism organization owned by Allbritton Communications that distributes its content via television, the Internet, newspaper & radio which was founded at 27th January 2007.
