Beyonce sings "I am here" at UN General Assembly

In honor of World Humanitarian Day famous Hollywood Singer Beyonce Knowles has performed her song “I Was Here” day before yesterday 18th August 2012 at center stage of UN General Assembly. This is known as her first stage performance after giving birth to her baby Blue Ivy Carter in January. The song "I was here" was produced by Scott Robinson, Co-directed by Kenzo digital and Sophie Muller, which was filmed in front of a live audience at UN General assembly earlier of August 10th at New York, USA. August 19th , which is officially known as World Humanitarian Day is as an inspiration for those who want to help make the world a safer and better place. The song starts with Beyonce saying “I wanna leave my footprints on the sands of time” as a giant screen behind her displays striking images of global volunteer efforts and pictures of humanitarian triumph. World Humanitarian Day was marked by UN General Assembly due to the 2003 bombing of the United Nations which killed 22 UN staff at headquarters in Iraq's Baghdad. She concludes her song saying that “ I will leave my mark so everyone will know, I was here”.
