For the first time in my life, today 21st
Monday 2012, I am visiting to India.
This is also the first time in my life that am leaving abroad in my
annual leave. India the super power of south East Asia is a country which has a
rich tradition & history. In this trip am visiting the village shornoor of
the state Trivandrum. Trivandrum needs no introduction for Maldivians. Indeed
many Maldivians live and do business in Trivandrum plus Trivandrum is known as
a Maldivian town in India.
Actually the idea of this trip was given to me by my
sister last Month. At the first the date we decided to departure was 20th
April. But it was delayed due to the sudden phone call by our sister who is
staying at India since 2006; this is not the sister whom I mentioned before at
this article. She sent a message stating that she cannot extend her visa
without coming to Maldives. So she requested to settle the date of our trip to
the date when she departures. Now she is at Maldives with us. After her arrival
again we discussed the date to departure to India. This time we agreed to
departure at 16th of May. So I went to 3BM which is one of the
passenger sales agents of Island Aviation Services flight Maldivian and took 2
tickets of two ways for Male’-Trivandrum. I thought I could be in India at 16th
of this May but again my sister who came here told me that she had some
important things to fulfill before her departure. One of them was opening a
current account at Bank of Maldives. So again we discussed to set a convenient date
for all of us to departure, specially a comfortable date for the sister who’s
staying there. This time it was the final fixed date 21st May 2012.
So I had a dialogue with Maldivian and cancelled the previous booking and
shifted the trip to 21st May’s morning flight. According to
Maldivian, our checking starts at morning 6:35 and the flight departures from
Ibrahim Nasir Male’ International Airport at morning 8:35am. Even though I and
my sister who is staying here are flying from the flight Maldivian, my sister
who is staying at India is flying from Indian Airlines. This is because
Maldivian is cheaper than Indian Airlines. As we all know Maldives is in an
economic crisis since two three years before. So I always am economizing. Nice
act right!
As this is my first trip to India, I wish this trip
would be a great fun trip for me. Especially I will visit to some places of the
village my sister is staying. Also we have plans to visit the city Mysore but
not confirmed yet. My wish is to be there too. As my sister is taking a camera
with her, I am going to take photos of different things I see and the locations
I visit. And after this trip, I will be using some of these photos in the
articles I post at this blog. It was always one of my dreams to “click” natural
pictures from different locations of the world. Previously I have used some of
the beautiful pictures of Mysore, which my sister took at her trip to the city
in the beginning of this year. Also I would try to record some videos from the
places I visit in this trip so that I can upload it to my official YouTube
channel “Adamington TV”. I didn’t
forget about the famous social network Facebook.
Surely I will share the videos and pictures of my trip with my online friends
of Facebook. Anyways I hope I have shared my story, the first step to India.
One more thing, please be informed that there would be no updates to this blog
during the days while am at India as there is no internet connection at my
sister’s house there. However, I will try to publish a detailed or summarized
article about my trip after my arrival to Maldives. May god make this trip an
enjoyable and blessing trip? I seek refuge and protection from god for any
danger or harm which might occur during this trip.
