2012; Happy New Year with the “Doomsday”

As we are counting the 21st century, here arrives the brand new year named as “2012”. 2012 is a leap year, so there are 366 days in this year which consists of 52 whole weeks and 2 extra days, just like any other leap year. That means this year has 8 765.81277 hours, 525 948.766 minutes and 31 556 926 seconds. There are exactly 52 Saturdays, Fridays, Thursdays, Wednesdays, Tuesday and 53 Mondays and Sundays. So get ready to explore the New Year ahead.

The year 2011 has passed giving us so many unforgettable moments and wise lessons. That advises by the year 2011 should be used and revised to shape our life in the New Year 2012. A year ahead a year will pass here in this world. We always should remember that passed hours could never been brought back. Those days and those times will only remain as memories of the past life; we should seal in our hearts and brain as an archive of life. The world rotates like a snail even though we feel the days are moving so fast. A day from the world a day from the life passes as this process is being on-going. I'm sure all of you have heard about the famous myth of 2012. Of course am talking about the “doomsday”. If you haven’t heard about it here's a summary. Many people since ancient times had believed that the world would end December 22, 2012. People thought this since the beginning because the early Mayan Calendar had ended on that day. The Mayans calculated dates using the sun. They couldn't calculate any later than December 22, 2012. This story of Mayans is gaining strength and appears to be worrying people in all areas of world. But as we are Muslims, there’s no evidence at any verse in the Quran that doomsday is a reality. There isn’t actually much evidence to suggest doomsday will strike, only the Mayans predict a religious miracle because of the way they believe in their religion. However I wish Allah to bless us all and protect us from any destructive disaster. I am proud that Maldives still remains as a 100 percent Muslim country in this 21st century despite the wide intellectual wars. Maldivian constitution gives us more confidence to protect the religion Islam with a legal protection to Islam too. “The religion of the Maldivian State is Islam” states our constitution which was ratified at the year 2008 by the former president Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom.

Still there’s a lot to be accomplished in my life. I mean about my dreams which I always never stop. Life has never been so easy in this world. That’s an important opponent that I always believe in my life. The passed 2011 was a really hard year for me in many ways. It was one challenging year I faced in my life time. I wish I could get a better administrative job with a fine timing plus a good salary which meets the current market prices. I hope god will grant my wish in this New Year 2012. Only then I can complete my Diploma. Yes, I am thirsty to be a diploma holder. Atleast I want to end my education career as a diploma holder. It’s one of my biggest dreams which I want to achieve in my life time. Sad news is my Sony Ericson mobile phone S500i Sony Ericson is expired with no use. Starting from this month I am using an ordinary Nokia mobile which even doesn’t support internet. So there’s not much which I can do with this simple phone in this New Year. Surely I can’t send those cute New Year messages which I used to send before.  At the moment am not so financially fit to buy a branded quality mobile at the moment. I should save a part of my earnings every month to collect the sufficient amount of money which I would need to buy a new mobile. I don’t have anyone who will lend me some money as a loan to buy a mobile immediately, so that I can pay him the amount monthly in an installment basis. Anyways forget about it, most of the friends always want to gain, never want to give out. I am still interested on Sony Ericson mobiles as they are user friendly for me. May god help me buy the mobile phone I desire? As for Sana, (my ex-girl friend) I would like to wish her a great happy new year in a special tone. She won’t know that I own a blog so am sure she will not be reading this article but by god’s will maybe some day she might discover my blog while she surfs the internet. Even though we’ve got apart, I always wish her good luck in her life and future endeavors. And I still love her.  In conclusion I would like to thank the readers of my blog from the bottom of my heart for your non-stop support and valuable time that you guys are giving to my blog. Hope you guys enjoyed my articles in the year 2011. I hope god will give me extra courage to post more interesting articles in this New Year 2012. Once again wish a blessed prospective year ahead.
