-->Tomorrow 8th October 2008, Maldives is going to held its first ever multi party presidential election for the 1st time in the country’s history. And tomorrow is a very historical day for me in my whole life as this election is the first election which I am going to vote. Of course I am eligible to vote as I am 18 in my age and going to celebrate my 19th birth in this year‘s October 27th.
Finally, now I have decided whom to vote. Surely I want to see a change. Not the past 30 years again. Our current president has been on the power grip of the country for the past 30 years. So isn’t 30 years more than enough? What do you think? So I have decided to vote to decide and decide to vote in this important election of our nation. Anyways voting will be a new experience in my life. This is also a new chapter which my life has brought me through its journey. I hope my god will brighten my future and always bless me in my life.
