Twitter founded at 21st March 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Biz Stone & Noah Glass is an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140-character messages called “tweets”. Twitter where people circulate more than 500 million messages, photos & links every day has released its annual list of the events & personalities that attracted the most attention at the year 2014. This year’s tweet which broke the record of the “Golden Tweet” came from the 86th Academy Awards show which was hosted by the American comedian, television host, actress, writer & television producer Ellen DeGeneres. This year, the honor of the “Golden Tweet of the Year 2014” goes to Ellen DeGeneres who is well known by her hour-long, five-days-a-week, talk-variety show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. Ellen DeGeneres photo from the March Oscars was re-tweeted more than 3 million times, making it a Twitter record as the most shared tweet ever on Twitter.
