Obama wins US Presidency for a 2nd term against Romney

"While our road has been hard, though our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up. We have fought our way back and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America, the best is yet to come," says Obama infront of thousands of thousands of his cheering supporters after winning the US Presidency for a second term. To mark his "come back" to white house, a huge crowd of his supporters gathered at Obama headquarters in Chicago waving small American flags and cheering. According to US election media reports Obama won the a second term winning more than 300 electoral votes against Republican candidate Mitt Romney. After the success in his first speech Obama said that "we battled fiercely, but it's only because we love this country deeply." While the voting process was on-going Mitt Romney tweeted that "We can’t afford four more years like the last. Vote today to ensure that the future will be better than the past". But in his concession speech in Boston Romney said that he prays Obama will be successful in guiding their nation America. According to the latest statistics of US Presidency Elections 2012, Americans re-elected Democratic party's  Barack Obama as US President for a secnd term on Tuesday with 60,039,247 votes which is 50.34%  after a tightly contested race against Republican party's candidate Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney won 57,361,563  votes which is 48.1% of the voters. In this historical election Republican candidate Mitt Romney teamed up with Paul Ryan as his running mate while Democratic candidate Barack Obama chose his 2008 elections mate Joe Biden in this term too. President Obama has been the first African race American President.
